Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
- Provide companionship and emotional support through conversation and engaging activities
- Assist with medication reminders and administration as directed
- Monitor clients’ well-being and report changes to supervisors or family members
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client care
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and care team members
- Follow all safety, health, and sanitation policies and procedures
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support client needs
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience or experience in a similar role
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to care for clients of all ages
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to follow care plans and company policies
