Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Perform precision fitting, welding, and assembly of mechanical components
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and machinery efficiently
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to meet product specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve fitting or fabrication issues during production
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of formal welding certification or training
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Fitter/Welder in an industrial or manufacturing setting
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Solid understanding of welding, fitting, and fabrication techniques
- Ability to commute reliably to Burton, MI 48529
- Physical capability to lift materials and stand for extended periods
- Commitment to safety, quality, and productivity
