Responsibilities
Meter Reading
- Accurately read allocated utility meters
- Record and upload meter readings using a handheld device
- Complete assigned routes efficiently and safely
- Meet daily productivity targets
Field Operations
- Walk allocated neighbourhoods to collect meter readings
- Travel between assigned work locations as required
- Work independently while maintaining high service standards
- Operate according to company procedures
Communication
- Maintain regular communication with the office support team
- Report issues or irregular meter readings
- Represent the company professionally while working in the community
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
- Wear the provided uniform and personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Work safely in various weather conditions
- Maintain company safety standards at all times
Requirements
- No previous experience required (training provided)
- Current valid driver’s licence
- Reliable vehicle for daily travel
- Mobile phone
- Physically fit and able to walk long distances
- Comfortable with bending, squatting, and outdoor work
- Able to work Monday to Friday
- Available to work 30–37.5 hours per week
- Willing to travel up to 45 minutes or more each way
- White Card or willingness to obtain one
