Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret production plans, drawings, and welding blueprints
- Fit, weld, and assemble parts according to specifications
- Perform welding on carbon steel components
- Assemble parts using measuring tools such as tape measures, levels, and templates
- Modify or repair parts as required
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked workstation
- Replace and restock welding supplies (wire, gas tanks, etc.)
- Assist other departments when needed
- Follow safety standards and company procedures
- Perform additional tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Valid Welding Certification (required)
- Proven welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledge of welding techniques and equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Physical ability to perform welding tasks for extended periods
