KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Retail Pharmacist, your duties may include:

Pharmacy Operations & Patient Care

  • Dispensing prescription medications accurately and safely
  • Reviewing prescriptions for therapeutic appropriateness and drug interactions
  • Providing patient counselling on medication usage, dosage, and side effects

Customer Service & Professional Practice

  • Delivering professional, courteous, and confidential customer service
  • Addressing patient questions and concerns with care and accuracy
  • Supporting community health through responsible pharmacy practice

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensuring compliance with provincial and federal pharmacy regulations
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
  • Upholding health, safety, and privacy standards

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy
  • Eligibility to practice as a Pharmacist in Saskatchewan
  • Experience is an asset but not mandatory
  • Ability to work on-site (no remote option available)
