KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As an Electrician, your duties will include:
Electrical Installation & Maintenance
- Install, test, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, control devices, and equipment
- Diagnose electrical faults and repair malfunctioning systems using appropriate test equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance through regular inspection and testing of electrical systems
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in wiring, equipment, and fixtures
Technical & Compliance Work
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, electrical code specifications, and schematics
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance and inspection records
- Ensure all work complies with organizational, provincial, and federal safety regulations and codes
- Support additional electrical projects and related duties as required
Work Environment & Safety
- Work at heights using ladders, scaffolding, and lifts up to 100 ft
- Perform duties outdoors in all weather conditions
- Actively promote and uphold Ascot’s No Harm safety culture

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Essential Requirements
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence
- Proven electrical experience in an industrial or similar environment
- Strong ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints
- Comfortable working at heights and in outdoor conditions
