Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support to senior clients
- Assist with shopping, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
- Support clients with transportation needs and errands
- Help with pet care and other daily tasks to enhance clients’ independence
- Foster positive relationships by engaging in meaningful social interaction
- Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for clients at all times
Requirements
- Patience, empathy, reliability, and a positive attitude
- Mature adults, preferably aged 30 or older, to enhance compatibility with clients
- Able-bodied and able to perform caregiving duties
- Must pass an AHCA background check (assistance provided for clearance)
- Prior experience working with geriatric patients is a plus, but not required
- No formal certifications required
