KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Painter, you will:
Surface Preparation & Painting
- Prepare surfaces by sanding, filling, priming, and cleaning
- Apply paint, varnish, stains, and protective coatings
- Carry out interior and exterior painting tasks to a high standard
Painting Operations
- Work on residential and commercial projects
- Use spray-painting equipment where required
- Ensure consistent quality, finish, and coverage
Health & Safety
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures
- Use tools, equipment, and materials safely
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite
Teamwork & Professionalism
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Meet deadlines and quality expectations
- Maintain a professional attitude on job sites

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Kieran Kelly Master Painters & Decorators is seeking candidates with the following:
Minimum Requirements
- Ability to work onsite in Wellington
- Physically fit and capable of manual tasks
Experience
- Previous experience as a Painter or Decorator preferred
- Residential and commercial painting experience is an advantage
Skills
- Strong knowledge of painting and decorating techniques
- Experience with spray painting and coatings application
- High attention to detail and quality workmanship
Language
- English required for workplace communication
WORK ENVIRONMENT
