Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage housekeeping staff tasks on assigned floors
- Ensure cleanliness of guest rooms, balconies, corridors, linen rooms, and pantries as per hotel standards
- Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of public areas
- Ensure guest supplies are consistently replenished
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests
- Report maintenance issues using the Property Management System (P.M.S)
- Maintain housekeeping equipment in clean and working condition
- Prepare and manage floor and room status reports accurately
- Conduct daily staff briefings and routine room inspections
- Report any unusual activities to the Assistant Housekeeping Manager
- Ensure compliance with hotel health, safety, and hygiene policies
- Attend training sessions and departmental meetings as required
- Understand and cater to different guest categories, including VIP guests
Requirements
- Degree or certification in Tourism or Hotel Management
- Strong command of written and spoken English
- Professional appearance and grooming standards
- Ability to work full-time in a fast-paced, luxury hotel environment
- Willingness to commit to a 12–18 month program
