Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize vacant residential units, including kitchens, bathrooms, appliances, floors, and windows
• Perform cleaning of common areas such as hallways, stairwells, lobbies, entrances, and utility rooms
• Assist with turnover cleaning and month-end preparation of units
• Empty garbage and recycling bins and ensure proper waste disposal
• Replenish cleaning supplies and report inventory needs
• Follow health and safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals
• Report maintenance issues or unsafe conditions to the maintenance team
• Assist during special cleaning situations such as emergencies or events
• Maintain secure handling of keys and access to tenant units
• Interact professionally with tenants, staff, and visitors
• Complete assigned tasks within deadlines efficiently
• Work collaboratively with team members and other departments
• Follow all safety procedures and use protective equipment
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Valid Class 5 Manitoba Driver’s License
• Clear criminal record
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Previous cleaning experience in residential or commercial settings (preferred)
• Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and safety practices
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Physically capable of standing, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs
• Comfortable working in various indoor and outdoor environments
• Dependable, punctual, and responsible
