Metlifecare is seeking an experienced and dedicated Cleaner to join the team at Pohutukawa Landings, a modern care facility located within a beautiful retirement village in Beachlands, Auckland. This is a permanent, full-time role (30 hours per week), ideal for individuals who take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness while making a positive difference in residents’ lives.

Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional cleaning services to residents and common areas
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the care home and village
- Ensure residents’ belongings are handled with care and respect
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene guidelines
- Work collaboratively with team members to support a safe and welcoming environment
- Assist with additional cleaning tasks as required
Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience, ideally within aged care or a similar environment
- Good level of physical fitness to meet role demands
- Ability to work the scheduled shifts: Thursday, Friday, Sunday & Monday (10am–6pm)
- Strong commitment to quality, safety, and resident wellbeing
- Legal right to work in New Zealand (ID and work eligibility required)
