Responsibilities

  • Empty bins, trays, and recycling stations and dispose of waste according to site guidelines.
  • Operate commercial vacuums and floor-cleaning equipment to clean offices, corridors, and production areas.
  • Dust and wipe ceilings, walls, fixtures, and high surfaces to remove dust and buildup.
  • Treat stains and marks using approved chemicals while following company safety procedures.
  • Strip, re-wax, and polish hard floors and perform spot cleaning on carpets when necessary.
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintain accurate cleaning records and logs.
  • Carry out periodic deep-cleaning tasks and special cleaning projects.
  • Report faults, damages, or potential hazards to supervisors promptly.
  • Perform minor equipment maintenance to ensure cleaning tools remain in good working condition.
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and wet areas while identifying and reporting plumbing issues.
  • Remove residues from machinery or equipment where required, following safety protocols.
  • Assist with exterior cleaning tasks such as pressure or abrasive cleaning when trained.
  • Monitor cleaning supplies and restock consumables while keeping storage areas organized.
  • Travel to various work locations across Auckland as required.

Requirements

  • Valid driverโ€™s license.
  • Ability to work weekends, late evenings, and night shifts as required.
  • Physically fit and capable of performing manual cleaning tasks.
  • Willingness to travel between multiple work sites across the Auckland region.
  • Minimum availability to work 30 hours per week.
