Responsibilities
- Report directly to the Project Manager and assist the Site Manager with daily operations
- Review project specifications and prepare Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) and check sheets
- Prepare and manage required samples, prototypes, and technical submissions
- Coordinate and manage sample approvals and quality assurance processes
- Maintain and update drawing registers and manage shop drawing approvals
- Identify and highlight drawing revisions and communicate changes to relevant teams
- Act as a liaison between Site Managers, subcontractors, and consultants
- Respond to technical inquiries and manage Requests for Information (RFIs)
- Ensure quality standards are maintained across construction activities
- Provide weekly reports on project status, RFIs, and outstanding technical issues
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Proven experience in residential apartment construction
- Strong understanding of construction processes, drawings, and specifications
- Experience with quality assurance systems and documentation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
- Strong organizational and reporting skills
- Eligibility to work in Australia
