Responsibilities
- Feed and monitor livestock, reporting any health concerns immediately
- Perform milking support tasks as required
- Clean stalls, barns, and equipment to maintain sanitary conditions
- Move, sort, and handle cattle using low-stress handling techniques
- Assist with bedding, scraping lanes, and maintaining cow comfort
- Conduct basic equipment checks and notify supervisors of repair needs
- Support general farm operations and additional tasks as assigned
- Follow all safety, biosecurity, and animal welfare protocols
Requirements
- Previous dairy or livestock experience preferred (not required)
- Ability to perform physically demanding labor
- Comfortable working around large animals
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and stand or walk for extended periods
