Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Sanitize restrooms, workspaces, and common areas to meet health and safety standards
- Empty waste bins and dispose of trash appropriately
- Replenish cleaning and hygiene supplies as needed
- Maintain and properly use cleaning equipment and tools
- Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly
- Follow all safety guidelines and use cleaning chemicals responsibly
- Ensure all assigned areas remain clean, organized, and presentable
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial or residential cleaning is preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Physically capable of performing routine cleaning tasks
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Willingness to work onsite in Port Hope, ON
