Key Responsibilities
- Operate Dyno Nobel trucks and plant equipment to deliver explosive products safely and efficiently
- Load, transport, and unload explosive materials in compliance with company and regulatory standards
- Drive delivery vehicles on public roads, mine roads, forest service roads, and off-road locations
- Operate rigid-frame machinery such as skid steers or equivalent equipment
- Maintain magazines, sites, and accurate inventory records
- Prepare and maintain documentation related to transportation, handling, safety, and regulatory compliance
- Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting and minor field maintenance as required
- Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times
- Maintain safe working conditions and ensure compliance by all personnel on-site
Requirements
- Valid Class 3 Driver’s License with Air Brake Endorsement
- Minimum 12 months of commercial driving experience
- Ability to meet NRCAN Explosives Handling Permit requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain all required federal and provincial certifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Ability to lift and move items up to 60 lbs repeatedly
- Basic computer literacy
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Previous experience handling explosives is preferred but not required
