Key Responsibilities

  • Operate Dyno Nobel trucks and plant equipment to deliver explosive products safely and efficiently
  • Load, transport, and unload explosive materials in compliance with company and regulatory standards
  • Drive delivery vehicles on public roads, mine roads, forest service roads, and off-road locations
  • Operate rigid-frame machinery such as skid steers or equivalent equipment
  • Maintain magazines, sites, and accurate inventory records
  • Prepare and maintain documentation related to transportation, handling, safety, and regulatory compliance
  • Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting and minor field maintenance as required
  • Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times
  • Maintain safe working conditions and ensure compliance by all personnel on-site

Requirements

  • Valid Class 3 Driver’s License with Air Brake Endorsement
  • Minimum 12 months of commercial driving experience
  • Ability to meet NRCAN Explosives Handling Permit requirements
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all required federal and provincial certifications
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Ability to lift and move items up to 60 lbs repeatedly
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Previous experience handling explosives is preferred but not required
