Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding specifications to complete fabrication tasks accurately 🔧
- Operate welding and metalworking equipment to weld, cut, and shape metal components
- Assemble welded structures and ensure precise alignment with project requirements
- Assist in the construction, repair, and maintenance of generators and modular data centers
- Perform inspections on welded surfaces to identify defects and ensure quality standards
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following PPE and safety procedures
- Collaborate with electricians, mechanics, engineers, and fabrication teams to meet project deadlines
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and project documentation
Requirements
- Proven welding experience, preferably in oilfield or industrial fabrication
- Proficiency with welding and metal fabrication equipment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
- Strong understanding of workplace safety procedures and compliance requirements
- Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, noise, and machinery
