Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily building operations and maintenance of all mechanical systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and infrastructure
- Lead and mentor a team of facilities service technicians and mid-level managers, ensuring high performance and continuous development
- Conduct regular facility inspections, document findings, and prepare action plans for property improvements
- Manage residential turnover processes and implement preventive maintenance programs
- Support all departments to ensure exceptional customer service relating to maintenance and facility issues
- Manage vendor relationships, service agreements, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations
- Monitor facilities budgets, optimize expenditures, and implement cost-saving measures
- Promote energy-efficient practices and sustainability initiatives
- Conduct safety audits, oversee emergency preparedness, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Develop digital reporting systems to enhance operations and operational transparency
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- 8–10 years of experience in facilities management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Proven expertise managing large, complex facilities and technical systems
- Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards
- Proficiency in facilities management software and digital tools
- Advanced competency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
