Key Responsibilities
As a Garden Labourer at Green by Nature, you will:
- Work in a team to spread mulch in Auckland’s parks, reserves, and streetscapes
- Shovel, barrow, and spread mulch to maintain attractive greenspaces
- Drive to various sites using company vehicles and/or trucks
- Assist team members to ensure work is completed efficiently and safely
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude throughout the day
Required Skills and Capabilities
To succeed in this role, you should:
- Hold a full Class 1 driver’s licence and confidently drive manual vehicles
- Be physically fit and able to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
- Communicate effectively and build strong working relationships
- Have a strong work ethic, be reliable, and show initiative
- Be a team player with a can-do attitude and commitment to quality
Work Conditions
This is a physically demanding, outdoor role that requires consistent manual labour in various weather conditions. You’ll be working on your feet and travelling between job sites daily.
