Education & Experience:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required
  • Experience: An asset but not mandatory

Key Responsibilities

As a Driving Instructor, your duties will include:

  • Teaching new drivers safe and defensive driving techniques
  • Delivering both in-vehicle and classroom instruction
  • Monitoring and evaluating student progress
  • Promoting awareness of road rules and safety standards
  • Maintaining accurate training and student records

Work Environment

  • On-site only – No remote work available
  • Instruction provided in rural Manitoba settings
  • Requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends

Required Certifications and Equipment

Licences & Credentials:

  • Valid Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles)

Security and Safety Checks:

  • Criminal record check
  • Vulnerable sector check
  • Child Abuse Registry check

Own Tools & Equipment:

  • Computer
  • Internet access
  • Cellular phone
