Dairy Farm Assistants in NZ . We are currently seeking two motivated and hardworking Dairy Farm Assistants to join a progressive and sustainable dairy farming operation in New Zealand. This full-time, permanent role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a modern farming environment while contributing to environmentally responsible agricultural practices.

The farm operates on 320 hectares of fully irrigated land, milking around 900 cows, and features state-of-the-art facilities including an automated rotary cowshed and modern equipment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily livestock handling and animal health checks
- Support pasture management and monitor farm performance
- Carry out general farm maintenance tasks
- Operate farm machinery and adopt modern farming technologies
- Work closely with the Farm Manager to ensure smooth operations
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment
- Support environmentally sustainable farming practices
Requirements
- Valid full driver’s license
- Availability to work shift schedules (including rostered shifts)
- Basic understanding of farm operations (preferred)
- Willingness to learn and adapt to modern farming techniques
- Commitment to health, safety, and sustainability practices
