OVERVIEW OF LANGUAGE, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
Languages Required:
- English (Fluent)
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (required)
- Experience is an asset, but motivated early-career engineers are welcome
- Eligible or registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Civil Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and planning bridges, dams, highways, and other civil structures
- Conducting field/site visits and analyzing survey, geotechnical, and hydrological data
- Preparing technical reports and documentation
- Ensuring compliance with engineering codes, building regulations, and safety standards
- Developing construction specifications and monitoring construction schedules
- Evaluating tenders and reviewing contract documents
- Collaborating with project managers, architects, and field staff

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This role requires:
- Work to be conducted fully on-site
- Office and field-based duties at various project locations

REQUIRED SKILLS AND CAPABILITIES
We are looking for applicants who are:
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, MS Excel, MS Project, and Primavera
- Skilled in civil design and structural analysis
- Able to manage multiple priorities and project tasks efficiently
- Detail-oriented, organized, and solution-focused
- Comfortable with occasional travel to project sites
- Knowledgeable in transportation, hydroelectric, and structural engineering practices
