Responsibilities
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Assisting with personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
- Offering medication reminders as prescribed
- Supporting mobility, transfers, and transportation
- Preparing meals and assisting with feeding
- Performing light housekeeping to maintain a safe, clean home
- Assisting with physical therapy or exercise routines
- Running errands and grocery shopping with or for clients
Requirements
- CNA or Nurse Aide certification/training
- Proven experience as a caregiver or CNA
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CPR and First Aid knowledge (preferred; may be obtained after hire)
- Physical stamina to assist clients with daily activities
- Compassionate, ethical, and reliable work ethic
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Housekeeping and basic cooking skills
- Ability to build trust and rapport with clients
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality care
