Responsibilities

  • Providing companionship and emotional support
  • Assisting with personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
  • Offering medication reminders as prescribed
  • Supporting mobility, transfers, and transportation
  • Preparing meals and assisting with feeding
  • Performing light housekeeping to maintain a safe, clean home
  • Assisting with physical therapy or exercise routines
  • Running errands and grocery shopping with or for clients

Requirements

  • CNA or Nurse Aide certification/training
  • Proven experience as a caregiver or CNA
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • CPR and First Aid knowledge (preferred; may be obtained after hire)
  • Physical stamina to assist clients with daily activities
  • Compassionate, ethical, and reliable work ethic

Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities
  • Housekeeping and basic cooking skills
  • Ability to build trust and rapport with clients
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality care
