Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Support clients with mobility, positioning, and transfers, including heavy lifting when required.
- Administer medications as directed and observe clients for any health changes.
- Prepare nutritious meals based on dietary needs and preferences.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Engage clients in social and recreational activities to support mental and emotional well-being.
- Offer companionship and emotional support while building trusting relationships.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and report concerns to supervisors or healthcare professionals.
- Ensure clients’ comfort, safety, and dignity at all times.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate in Greek (spoken language requirement).
- Previous experience in caregiving, assisted living, nursing homes, or senior care preferred.
- Knowledge of basic patient care practices, including dementia or hospice care techniques.
- Understanding of medication administration procedures is an advantage.
- Physical ability to assist with mobility support and lifting when necessary.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to different care environments.
