Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and build trusting relationships with clients
• Assist with personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Prepare nutritious and simple meals
• Perform light housekeeping duties
• Support individuals living with dementia
• Escort clients to appointments, errands, shopping, and outings
• Engage clients in activities such as games, hobbies, and social interaction
• Promote a safe and comfortable home environment

Requirements

• Must be a current resident of Saskatoon or surrounding area
• Valid driver’s license with access to a reliable vehicle and insurance
• Minimum one year of driving experience in Saskatoon
• Ability to pass criminal record and driver’s abstract checks
• Must have a valid Canadian Social Insurance Number
• Physical ability to perform caregiving and household tasks
• Strong English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking)
• Previous caregiving experience is an asset but not required
