Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Support mobility, transfers, and ensure patient safety and comfort
- Perform light housekeeping duties and assist with meal preparation
- Monitor and report any changes in patient condition or behavior
- Follow individualized care plans and healthcare protocols
- Maintain accurate documentation of care activities
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and families
- Foster a safe, respectful, and compassionate home environment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic personality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Physically capable of assisting with lifting and mobility tasks
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
