Responsibilities
- Perform welding and metal fabrication work for construction and roofing projects
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, plans, and measurements
- Operate welding equipment such as MIG, TIG, and arc welders
- Cut, shape, and assemble metal components
- Set up and align materials for accurate welding
- Prepare metal surfaces using grinders and cutting tools
- Carry out welding in various positions (horizontal, vertical, overhead)
- Inspect welded structures for defects and ensure quality standards
- Maintain welding tools and equipment
- Follow all workplace health and safety regulations
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience OR Level 4 (or higher) qualification
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Strong work ethic and motivation
