Responsibilities
- Provide personal care including washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Support clients with medication reminders and administration as required
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe movement
- Perform light housekeeping duties
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Maintain accurate care records using digital systems
- Drive clients to appointments, errands, or social outings when required
Requirements
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable nature
- Good communication skills and spoken English
- Ability to provide personal care with dignity and respect
- Willingness to learn; full paid training provided
- Previous experience in home care, assisted living, nursing homes, or hospice care is desirable but not essential
- Basic understanding of dementia and Alzheimer’s care is an advantage
- Valid UK driving licence required
- First Aid and CPR certification preferred; willingness to undertake training required
- Physically fit and able to assist with lifting and mobility support
- Ability to work independently and as part of a caring team
