KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Carpenter, your duties may include:
Carpentry & Construction Work
- Reading blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
- Measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
- Performing maintenance and repair carpentry work on renovation and construction projects
Site Coordination & Support
- Scheduling and coordinating work activities on construction sites
- Ensuring tasks are completed safely, accurately, and on time
- Collaborating effectively with team members and site supervisors

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
The following are needed to qualify for the job:
Essential Requirements
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 3 to less than 5 years of experience as a carpenter
- Strong ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings
- Valid driver’s licence
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced construction environment
Tools & Equipment
- Own steel-toed safety boots
- Ability to use standard carpentry tools safely and effectively

- Reliable and punctual
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and workmanship
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This role involves:
- On-site work only (no remote option available)
- Physically demanding tasks including lifting, standing, bending, and working with tools
- Construction and renovation environments
- Daytime work schedules
