Responsibilities
- Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and systems
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical issues using schematics and technical documentation
- Carry out stick welding (SMAW) tasks, including fabrication and repair work
- Install new machinery and assist with plant upgrades and modifications
- Maintain and repair pumps, conveyors, piping systems, and gearboxes
- Conduct steel fabrication and structural repairs to support plant operations
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
- Promote and follow Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) procedures
- Support additional maintenance and production tasks as assigned
Requirements
- 2–3 years of recent experience in industrial maintenance, millwright work, or machine repair
- Proven ability to pass a Stick Welding (SMAW) test
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques, metal properties, and safety procedures
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Willingness to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts (8-hour shifts)
- Comfortable wearing a respirator when required
- Must be eligible to work in the United States (no sponsorship available)
