Responsibilities
- Clean and service assigned guest rooms and public areas according to hotel standards
- Make beds, change linens, and ensure rooms are neat and well-organized
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors
- Dust furniture, fixtures, and surfaces thoroughly
- Vacuum carpets, remove trash, and replenish guest room supplies and amenities
- Clean kitchen areas, including refrigerators, coffee makers, and utensils when required
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests
- Maintain housekeeping carts and supply closets in a clean and organized manner
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and suspicious activities
- Handle lost and found items according to hotel procedures
- Follow all safety guidelines, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals
- Complete assigned rooms within the required timeframe
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in hospitality, is an advantage
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull equipment up to 200 lbs
- Capability to stand, bend, kneel, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Basic understanding of English for instructions and guest communication
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
- Strong commitment to attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
