Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain Shire buildings, facilities, and public amenities
- Follow structured cleaning schedules and ensure tasks are completed efficiently
- Ensure all facilities are hygienic, safe, and presentable
- Use cleaning equipment and materials properly and safely
- Assist with additional cleaning and maintenance duties as required
- Work both independently and as part of the Facilities team
- Maintain cleanliness standards in both indoor and outdoor environments
Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience preferred (commercial or public facilities)
- Valid C Class Driver’s License
- Ability to work outdoors in hot weather conditions
- Ability to work independently and follow schedules
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible work ethic
- Willingness to learn and follow workplace procedures
Skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and safety procedures
