Responsibilities

  • Safely assemble or handle units while maintaining product quality
  • Adhere to standard cycle times and production targets

Equipment Operation

  • Operate welding (MIG/GMAW) and assembly equipment safely and efficiently

Quality & Verification

  • Verify correct part numbers according to work instructions
  • Ensure previous parts are properly assembled or welded before proceeding

Team Collaboration

  • Support standardized work processes
  • Contribute to team-based production goals

Continuous Improvement & Compliance

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Engage in 5S activities and maintain tool and jig home locations
  • Comply with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards
  • Complete special projects as assigned

Requirements

  • MIG (Gas Metal Arc Welding) experience required
  • Basic competency in English (reading and understanding work instructions)
  • Ability to follow detailed production instructions
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing production needs
  • Ability to meet physical job requirements

Skills

  • Proficiency in MIG welding (GMAW)
  • Knowledge of welding safety standards
  • Attention to detail and quality control
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

  • Basic mechanical aptitude

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

  • Ability to stand for the entire shift
  • Work in hot or cold industrial environments
  • Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Use hands to operate tools and equipment
  • Perform physical movements such as bending, stooping, kneeling, and climbing stairs
  • Good vision (close, distance, peripheral, depth perception)
