Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, design, and permitting of civil engineering, land development, and infrastructure projects
- Prepare and modify engineering documents, including reports, specifications, plans, schedules, and cost estimates
- Utilize design software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D for project development
- Analyze maps, reports, drawings, and aerial photographs to assess terrain, soil composition, and hydrological data
- Support site planning, grading, drainage, and stormwater management design efforts
- Collaborate with team members on project assignments and deliverables
- Apply engineering principles and advanced mathematical techniques to solve project challenges
- Recommend innovative solutions to improve efficiency and service delivery
- Perform additional duties as required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 1+ year of relevant experience or internship in site/civil engineering
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or registration for the FE exam
- Familiarity with site development design, including grading, drainage, and erosion control
- Proficiency in engineering design tools such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
