This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant industrial environment within our Bean Preparation and Crush Division facilities, supporting continuous plant operations.

Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of the Bean Preparation building, plant grounds, and all major processing areas
- Clean the entire CRUSH Division as directed by supervisors and management
- Monitor work areas to ensure they are clean and free of safety hazards
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and government regulations
- Wear and maintain appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Assist preparation personnel with special projects and additional manpower needs
- Perform seasonal grounds maintenance, including snow removal and groundskeeping
- Operate equipment such as skid steers and hand tools
- Work safely at heights and in confined spaces when required
- Participate in shift activities, training programs, and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 4 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Willingness to work in a safety-sensitive, 24/7 plant operation
- Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials weighing 50 pounds or more
- Compliance with OSHA and other regulatory safety standards
- Ability to operate machinery and basic computer systems
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
Skills
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures
- Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with industrial equipment
- Understanding of regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA, USDA, ISO standards)
- Strong attention to detail and hazard awareness
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
