Key Responsibilities

Perform MIG Pulse welding according to company standards
Set up and run RT & UT quality code welds
Perform UT quality nozzle/branch welds
Set up and operate carbon arc gouging equipment
Make UT or RT weld repairs as needed
Clean and stamp all completed welds
Set up and run non-code vessel welds
Layout and fit vessel components accurately
Operate oxy-fuel cutting and burning equipment
Read and interpret drawings, WPS’s/PQR’s
Maintain high work speed and task efficiency
Follow proper housekeeping practices
Ensure safe working habits at all times
Minimize weld repairs through high-quality work
Maintain reliable and punctual attendance
Uphold a positive, cooperative, and team-oriented attitude

Requirements

Proven welding experience (MIG Pulse required)
Ability to pass 2G and 3G welding tests
Strong understanding of UT and RT code welding standards
Knowledge of WPS (Welding Procedure Specification) and PQR (Procedure Qualification Record)
Ability to read and understand technical drawings
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment
Must practice safe work habits at all times
