Education & Experience:

- Farming experience is an asset but not mandatory
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada (Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or with a valid work permit)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Vegetable Farm Worker, your key duties will include:
- Planting, cultivating, irrigating, and harvesting vegetable crops
- Grading produce by size, shape, and quality for market readiness
- Fertilizing and spraying crops
- Weeding and maintaining crop health
- Operating and maintaining farm machinery and equipment
- Performing general farm duties and ensuring safety and biosecurity compliance
- Loading and unloading crates and farm produce using equipment like forklifts or dollies
CROPS HANDLED
You’ll be working with a diverse range of vegetables, including:
- Bell peppers
- Cabbage
- Carrots
- Cauliflowers
- Cucumbers
- Onions
- Sweet corn
- Tomatoes
- Zucchinis
- Potatoes
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This role will involve:
- Physically demanding work, including lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- Exposure to varying weather conditions in outdoor settings
- Repetitive tasks and long hours during peak harvest
- Travel across multiple field locations
- Working and living in a rural area (staff accommodation available)
