OVERVIEW OF LANGUAGE, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE

Apparel Group welcomes applicants who meet the following criteria:

Languages Required

  • English (oral and written, with strong communication skills)
  • Arabic (advantage but not mandatory)

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field (preferred)
  • 5+ years of progressive retail experience in customer-centric roles
  • Proven success in achieving & exceeding store sales KPIs
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team management skills
  • Knowledge of fashion retail market and customer engagement strategies

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Store Manager at Apparel Group, your key duties will include:

  • Driving the store team to achieve sales targets, KPIs, and customer satisfaction goals
  • Conducting financial and stock audits, minimizing shrinkage to less than 0.2% of sales cost
  • Overseeing store operations including opening, closing, and merchandising standards
  • Managing employee records (leave, rosters, performance, conduct history)
  • Recruiting, training, and developing a high-performing sales team
  • Conducting team meetings, setting goals, and providing feedback to staff
  • Monitoring sales performance and creating action plans to improve results
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and security measures
  • Building strong relationships with mall management and corporate teams
  • Handling customer inquiries, complaints, and ensuring a superior shopping experience
  • Developing training programs to upskill the team and prepare future store leaders

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This role will involve:

  • Leading and motivating a diverse retail team in a fast-paced environment
  • Managing day-to-day store operations and balancing multiple priorities
  • Working closely with customers, mall management, and corporate departments
  • Ensuring high standards of visual merchandising and customer engagement
  • Adapting to flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
