KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Retread Factory Worker, you will:

  • Carry out tyre retreading and related factory operations efficiently and accurately.
  • Perform manual tasks including heavy lifting, tyre inspection, and equipment handling.
  • Follow detailed production processes to ensure high-quality results.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with Health & Safety standards.
  • Operate machinery safely and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and teamwork in daily factory operations.
  • Adhere to company quality, environmental, and safety policies at all times.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This role involves:

  • Working in a hands-on manufacturing environment with heavy equipment and materials.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A full, clean NZ Driver’s Licence (essential).
  • A high level of physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour safely.
  • A good understanding of Health & Safety procedures and practices.
  • Effective communication skills and teamwork attitude.
  • A current forklift licence or willingness to train and obtain one.
  • NZ citizenship, residency, or a valid work visa permitting employment in NZ.
