Veldman Poultry Farm Ltd. welcomes applicants who meet the following criteria:
Languages Required
- English (oral and written)
Education & Experience
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required
- Experience an asset (farming, livestock, or poultry work preferred)
- Ability to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
- Knowledge of farm safety and biosecurity procedures
- Strong physical stamina and attention to detail
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Farm Worker (Poultry), your key duties will include:
- Clearing fields of wood and stones
- Disinfecting pens, barns, or poultry houses
- Monitoring animal health and detecting diseases
- Feeding and tending poultry
- Operating and maintaining farm machinery and equipment
- Ensuring farm safety and biosecurity standards are followed
- Cleaning stables, barns, barnyards, and pens
- Recording daily progress and maintaining production records
- Setting and monitoring water lines, airflow, and temperature in barns and coops
- Performing general farm duties as assigned

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This role will involve:
