Overview of Language, Education, and Experience
We’re looking for candidates who meet the following:
- Language: English
- Education: Electrical qualification and valid NZ Electrical Registration (EWRB)
- Experience: Proven industrial or production maintenance experience
Tasks and Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Electrician, your role will include:
- Performing planned and reactive maintenance across the site
- Troubleshooting electrical faults and repairing machinery
- Minimising downtime and ensuring efficient operations
- Collaborating across departments to support production goals
- Using digital tools to log maintenance and report updates
Required Skills and Capabilities
- Valid NZ Electrical Registration & Practising Licence (EWRB)
- Fault-finding and PLC experience (Allen Bradley or Siemens preferred)
- Knowledge of NZ electrical standards and safety regulations
- Clear communication and a proactive, hands-on attitude
- Dual trade (electrical + fitting) experience is a bonus
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Fast-paced, hands-on industrial environment
- Requires physical fitness and attention to detail
- Long shifts on a rotating roster with nights and weekends
