KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Long Haul Truck Driver at Trans-wave Logistics Inc., you will:
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
- Plan or adjust routes using GPS or navigation tools to minimize fuel consumption
- Load and unload goods, ensuring proper cargo securement (including tarping)
- Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections of vehicles
- Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
- Perform brake adjustments and minor emergency roadside repairs when necessary
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption
- Communicate with central dispatch to coordinate deliveries

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This role involves:
- Long-distance driving across provinces and/or into the US
- Physical demands including loading/unloading and handling cargo up to 23 kg
- Hands-on mechanical checks and inspections
- No option for remote work
