KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Janitor at Relate Janitorial Services Inc., your main duties will include:
- Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and waxing hallways, floors, and stairs
- Emptying trash cans and other waste containers regularly
- Cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms, sinks, and fixtures
- Performing routine cleaning and maintenance tasks in assigned areas
- Working independently and ensuring high standards of cleanliness
- Following safety procedures and maintaining cleaning equipment properly
- Reporting any maintenance or repair needs to supervisors promptly

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This role involves:
- Working on-site at various client locations in Vernon, BC
- Performing physically demanding and repetitive cleaning tasks
- Standing, bending, crouching, and kneeling for extended periods
- Handling cleaning supplies and equipment safely
- Collaborating with supervisors and other team members as required
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will have:
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
- Experience: Will train (previous cleaning experience an asset)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good physical stamina and time management skills
- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including evenings or weekends
