KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Janitor at Relate Janitorial Services Inc., your main duties will include:

  • Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and waxing hallways, floors, and stairs
  • Emptying trash cans and other waste containers regularly
  • Cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms, sinks, and fixtures
  • Performing routine cleaning and maintenance tasks in assigned areas
  • Working independently and ensuring high standards of cleanliness
  • Following safety procedures and maintaining cleaning equipment properly
  • Reporting any maintenance or repair needs to supervisors promptly

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This role involves:

  • Working on-site at various client locations in Vernon, BC
  • Performing physically demanding and repetitive cleaning tasks
  • Standing, bending, crouching, and kneeling for extended periods
  • Handling cleaning supplies and equipment safely
  • Collaborating with supervisors and other team members as required

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Experience: Will train (previous cleaning experience an asset)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Good physical stamina and time management skills
  • Flexibility to work varying schedules, including evenings or weekends
