KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Waiter/Waitress at Bâton Rouge Grillhouse, you will:
- Greet customers, present menus, and make food and beverage suggestions
- Take orders and transmit them accurately through the POS system
- Serve meals, desserts, and beverages (including wine, cocktails, and alcohol) according to Bâton Rouge service standards
- Apply upselling and sales techniques to enhance guest experience
- Ensure quality service and compliance with restaurant steps of service
- Prepare and deliver bills, handle cash, and balance transactions
- Clear, clean, and reset tables for the next guests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in your work area
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This role involves:
- Fast-paced restaurant and hospitality setting
- Standing, walking, and serving for extended periods
- Handling food, beverages, and occasional heavy trays
- Variable schedules, including nights, weekends, and split shifts
