KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Taxi Driver, you will:
Passenger Service & Transport
- Collect clients at the start of their journey.
- Assist passengers with loading/unloading baggage when needed.
- Drive clients safely to their destinations.
- Select efficient routes unless the client requests otherwise.
- Provide courteous service and share information about local attractions and services.
Vehicle & Trip Management
- Start/stop the taximeter accurately.
- Process payments (cash, card, or digital).
- Keep the vehicle clean, presentable, and in good working condition.
Safety & Regulations
- Adhere to all local driving and road safety regulations.
- Ensure passengers remain safe at all times.
- Report any safety or vehicle concerns promptly.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Loyal Taxi is seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
Minimum Requirements
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Clean criminal record.
- Legally eligible to work in Canada (must be in New Brunswick).
- Experience with time management and punctual task execution.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Good interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage cash/card transactions accurately.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous commercial driving experience.
- Strong knowledge of Fredericton routes and local areas.
- Experience driving passengers professionally.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position involves:
- Working independently on the road.
- Operating a taxi in varying weather and traffic conditions.
- Interacting with various clients throughout the day.
- Managing flexible working hours based on personal preference.
