OVERVIEW OF LANGUAGE, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE
PowerTech Electrical Services welcomes applicants who meet the following criteria:
Languages Required
- English (oral and written)
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an electrical apprenticeship program or trade certification (309A license preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a licensed or apprentice electrician
Training
- On-the-job training and safety certifications provided
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As an Electrician at PowerTech Electrical Services, your duties will include:
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures
- Inspecting electrical components to identify hazards, defects, or necessary repairs
- Using testing devices to ensure electrical safety and system functionality
- Adhering to provincial electrical codes and safety standards
- Collaborating with supervisors, contractors, and apprentices on-site
- Troubleshooting electrical issues efficiently and effectively
- Maintaining tools, equipment, and a clean, safe workspace
