OVERVIEW OF LANGUAGE, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE

PowerTech Electrical Services welcomes applicants who meet the following criteria:

Languages Required

  • English (oral and written)

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an electrical apprenticeship program or trade certification (309A license preferred)
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a licensed or apprentice electrician

Training

  • On-the-job training and safety certifications provided

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As an Electrician at PowerTech Electrical Services, your duties will include:

  • Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
  • Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures
  • Inspecting electrical components to identify hazards, defects, or necessary repairs
  • Using testing devices to ensure electrical safety and system functionality
  • Adhering to provincial electrical codes and safety standards
  • Collaborating with supervisors, contractors, and apprentices on-site
  • Troubleshooting electrical issues efficiently and effectively
  • Maintaining tools, equipment, and a clean, safe workspace

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This role will involve:
