KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Material Handler / Forklift Operator, you will:

  • Work in the dispatch and receiving department to ensure smooth warehouse operations
  • Operate a high reach forklift (Toyota Joystick) to rack and un-rack pallets safely
  • Pick outbound orders and prepare shipments accurately
  • Perform manual handling tasks (lifting 15–25 kg; vacuum lifters available for heavier loads)
  • Operate a Walkie Stacker efficiently and safely
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and workplace safety standards
  • Use SAP software for inventory and stock management

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This role involves:

  • Working on-site at the Clayton manufacturing facility (no remote work)
  • Operating forklifts and warehouse equipment in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Manual handling and standing for extended periods
  • Following strict safety, hygiene, and quality protocols

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A valid Forklift Licence (LF)
  • Proven experience in high reach forklift operation, including tight-aisle navigation
  • Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently
  • Knowledge of GMP standards and warehouse procedures
  • Basic experience with SAP or similar warehouse management systems (preferred)
  • A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety
  • Availability for day shifts and possible weekend overtime
