The well known company “Tower Cattle Co.” announced position for “Farm Supervisor” in Pincher Creek, Alberta. Tower Cattle Co. offers a full-time, permanent role with a competitive hourly salary of $22.62, requiring 35 to 60 hours per week. Responsibilities for Farm Supervisor:

• Direct farm feed inventory activities

• Level earth to fine grade specifications
• Marking livestock as proof of ownership
• Monitor the calving process
• Monitoring animal health
• Organize tasks to accomplish the work
• Oversee the activities of clearing the fields
• Seed cutting
• Soil fertility programs
• Treat livestock health issues
• Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures
• Maintain financial and production records
• Negotiate with clients for provision of services
• Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting
• Carry out a pasture or pen breeding programs
• Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers
• Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
• Formulate feeding program
• Maintain livestock performance records
• Maintain quality control and production records
• Select livestock for sale
• Supervise and oversee breeding and other livestock-related programs
• Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations
