Responsibilities
- Assist with daily farm operations, including planting, cultivating, irrigating, and harvesting crops
- Operate and maintain light farm machinery and vehicles (e.g., tractors)
- Support packhouse and field operations during busy harvest periods
- Carry out repairs, fencing, and general maintenance work around the farm
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of farm facilities and equipment
- Follow all health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
- Good physical fitness and stamina for manual outdoor labor
- Reliable transport and a valid driver’s license
- Availability to work weekends and longer hours during peak seasons
- Previous experience in farming, horticulture, or trades (e.g., fencing, irrigation, drainage) is beneficial but not essential
- Must hold valid work rights for New Zealand
