Powerlink Solutions is seeking experienced Electrical Tradespersons to join our professional team delivering a high-profile, long-term HVAC electrical installation project at Shellharbour Hospital. If you have strong technical skills, understand complex electrical systems, and thrive in a team-based commercial environment, this role is ideal for you.
As an Electrician on this project, you will contribute to critical healthcare infrastructure, performing installation and commissioning works alongside a supportive and experienced team.
This is a full-time, long-term role commencing in early 2026.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Licensed Electrician, you will:
Electrical & HVAC Duties
- Interpret electrical schematics, plans, and specifications.
- Perform wiring and termination for motors, VSDs, and motor control panels.
- Plan and install cable containment systems.
- Support mechanical and HVAC electrical installation tasks.
- Ensure safe work practices in line with company and site procedures.
- Collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements
- NSW Licensed Electrician (Mandatory).
- Construction Induction Safety Certificate (White Card).
- Commercial or industrial electrical installation experience.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Strong safety awareness and adherence to standards.
- Ability to work within a team-based environment.
Additional Requirements
- Mechanical electrical installation experience (preferred but not essential).
- EWP licence and other relevant high-risk tickets (advantageous).
- Current Australian driver’s licence.
- Low Voltage Rescue & CPR certification (advantageous).
Preferred Qualifications
- Completed electrical trade qualification.
- Experience on large-scale commercial projects or healthcare facilities.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position requires:
- Working onsite at a major hospital construction project.
- Using electrical tools, equipment, and testing instruments.
- Following strict WHS and quality assurance procedures.
- Working within a collaborative, safety-first team environment.
